Lessons from Ministry-Misplaced Hope

Do you realize how much you hope for throughout the day? You go to bed, hoping that the next day will begin routinely. When we wake up in the morning, we HOPE that our alarm will go off, we HOPE that there will be warm water when we turn on the shower, and we HOPE that people won't cross the yellow stripes on the highway on our way to wherever we're going. Hope drives us, propels us, and frames our perspective of the world we live in.

Lessons from Ministry-Under Pressure

I am weak and constantly beating myself up thinking of what more I could do. I think Marci can agree with this too. No matter how good you are in healthcare there is always room for improvement. The anxiety is understandable. I want to always serve first God, then go every mile for my wife, and yet inspire teens to pursue Christ with their whole heart. Easy right? So it makes sense that anxiety would become a crucial part of ministry and caring for others with the love of Christ. But how do you not delve into severe anxiety and depression?
